Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with seasoned account and creative teams as well as specialists to execute results-driven marketing campaigns
  • Utilize agency project management software to open, schedule, track and close projects as well as generate purchase orders
  • Perform a variety of duties which might include coordinating ad submissions and barter fulfillments, managing clients’ social media communities, maintaining up-to-date website content, coordinating email deployment, conducting qualitative and quantitative research and much more

We’re seeking an in-house, full-time copywriter who will be located in Reston, Virginia and will focus on a client in the education space. This position must be able to translate client and creative direction into compelling and effective marketing communications.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise and strategic messaging (including emails, print and digital ads, video scripts, direct mail pieces and other marketing materials) that drive business results, support key marketing initiatives and inspire action
  • Write industry-centric copy that uses the appropriate voice for a wide variety of industries/audiences
  • Work with the account teams to identify and develop a compelling story arc throughout a campaign
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop unique, creative, impactful and on-strategy/on-target message themes for campaign concepts
  • Condense significant amounts of messaging into succinct communications
  • Edit and proofread as needed, checking for formatting, grammar, punctuation and spelling

  • Serve as direct client contact for multiple public relations clients
  • Provide strategic counsel and media relations outreach to ensure earned media placements
  • Work with the account teams to strategize, propose and implement innovative public relations campaigns, complementing marketing and social media plans.
  • Evaluate and analyze client public relations strategy and performance, and recommend and implement improvements to the current strategy as required
